Why are you going on this trip to Rwanda?
I have worked with countless physicians, nurses, and other clinicians throughout my career who have participated in the joy of medical missions, and providing sometimes life changing care to patients in need. I have always had a passion for this work, and have helped these clinicians find the time or resources to bring the healing ministry to those in need. However, as a non-clinician it is rare to have the opportunity to utilize my healthcare skills to offer assistance that could impact an entire healthcare system. I am excited to share my passion and skills, while also learning a great deal from those I will be working with during our time in Rwanda.
What are your favorite outside-of-work activities?
I enjoy a variety of outdoor activities: boating; hiking, camping, golf, gardening, and generally anything with fresh air and sunshine. However, my favorite activity of all is spending time with my family which includes my wife and three daughters.
