Why are you going on this trip to Rwanda?
I have traveled all around the world with the military and I have always wanted to do things in a different capacity. When I read the email informing us of the trip that Mercy was going to be taking to Rwanda I felt a calling to go. I became a nurse to fulfill a calling. I enjoy helping people and what better way to help people than to provide my services to another country.
What are your favorite outside-of-work activities?
My favorite thing to do is to spend time with my family. They are my world and every moment with them is a blessing. I also love to read and run; I do a lot of fun runs and mud runs.
